Description
This collection consists of Texas State University's sports media guides and game day programs from 1970-2015. The media guides and programs contain schedules, player information and statistics, and athletic staff information.

The Raw Deal Collection

Description
The documents and photographs comprising The Raw Deal Collection span 1972-1983 and document the activities and operation of “The Raw Deal” and “Another Raw Deal” restaurants in Austin, Texas. The collection is arranged into two series: Textual Materials and Photographs. Photographs comprise the bulk of the collection and document the diversity of patrons who frequented The Raw Deal. In the 1970s and early 1980s, The Raw Deal became a symposium of sorts for notable writers, journalists, artists, musicians, and politicians in Austin. The affordability of the restaurant and the no-frills atmosphere also resulting in a convergence of individuals from varied socioeconomic backgrounds.

Photographs include notable persons such as Ann Richards, David Richards, Bob Bullock, Ralph Yarborough, Kenneth Threadgill, co-owners Fletcher Boone and Jim “Lopez” Smitham, Bob Armstrong, musician Jerry Jeff Walker, and journalist Kay Northcott.

Chautauquan: A publication for the faculty and staff of Southwest Texas State University 1989-1999

Description
Consisting of 118 issues published internally over 11 years, this newsletter contains information about institutional events, programs, research projects, and other news of interest to the campus community. Readers were provided with updates on topics such as enrollment, budget concerns, construction projects, grant funding announcements, concerts, and guest speakers. These newsletters provide a snapshot of the Texas State campus in the 1990s.

Russell Lee

Description
The Russell Lee Collection came to the Wittliff Gallery through donations since 1986 by Jean Lee, Bill Wittliff, Dow Chapman and Wally Ellinger. This collection of photographs, correspondence, personal and legal documents, artifacts, paintings and publications ranges in date from 1901-1991, the bulk of the material dates from 1936-1942.

This project was funded by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.

Individual Oral History Interviews

Description
Throughout the years, a number of oral histories were conducted individually rather than as part of a larger project. These individual participants are gathered here.

Craddock Oral History Collection

Description
Long-time faculty member and two-time San Marcos Mayor, Dr. Emmie Craddock was dedicated to preserving history. She and her History students conducted dozens of interviews with members of the community. The subjects of these interviews were often older residents, who talked about their experiences growing up in the 1910s and 1920s.

Course Catalogs

Description
The course catalogs (or bulletins) contains information about degree requirements and course descriptions and numbers. Also includes general information such as registration dates. Prior to the late 1960s, catalogs contained both undergraduate and graduate classes. The Graduate Catalogs became their own separate publication beginning in 1966. Early editions contains list of graduates from previous year and information about programs.
