From San Marcos Record: SMHS Rattler senior baseball players, Danny Leinneweber, Tom Webb, and Joe Froh, look over the new pitching machine for the upcoming season. A spring variety show was held in the high school auditorium to help raise the funds needed to purchase the new machine. The SMHS men's faculty sponsored the event with SWTTC, Academy, High school, and community organizations providing the entertainment for the show. From the March 3 and 24, 1960, issues.
