Includes the academic calendar, the first annual report of the Board of Trustees, list of students that attended 1903-1904, explanations of courses, expenses and scholarships, and entrance examinations. Also includes short history of the normal school in San Marcos, Texas which mentions the Coronal Institute, and describes the purpose of a normal school.

Photograph of two unidentified men in front of store holding a dead eagle. From San Marcos Record: "This golden eagle with a wingspan of 7 ft 4 in was killed near San Marcos on Monday evening by Jim Wiede, Maxwell school boy, as he hunted with his rifle on the Tom McCarty Ranch. Shown with the big bird is young Wiede, right, and his uncle Harry Wiede of San Marcos." From January 1, 1954 issue.
